Recently, I ran across an article promoting the partnership between instructional faculty and library faculty. Developing research assignments in conjunction with your subject librarian can facilitate a more positive research experience for the student, and save frustration for the faculty. Frequently, students do not know where to start or how to focus their research. Librarians can assist by providing subject specific resources, as well as tips for evaluating resources, especially those that can be found on the Internet. Librarians also offer personalized support for teaching and are resources for all Library services.
