First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. This year National Library Week is being celebrated April 14-20, 2013.
The 2013 theme, Communities Matter @ your library, invites you to discover the Calvin T. Ryan Library as a hub for engaging in creative conversations about the University’s needs and not just as a repository of resources. Whether you are conducting research, studying quietly or collaborating with peers, crafting a research paper or multimedia presentation, the library is a special place for so much more. So, give a hand and lend an ear to your community during National Library Week.
