View biological research with JoVE

Written by Jon Ritterbush, E-Resources and Serials Librarian

Findings from biological research have long been published in books and journals, but now these experiments are being published in video format through a peer-reviewed, online source — JoVE: the Journal of Visualized Experiments.

The library has recently added JoVE’s General section to its online collections, providing access to over 1,000 professionally-produced videos of biological research, with new videos being published each month.  Each video also includes an accompanying text report providing an abstract, protocols, materials list, results, and cited references.

Look for JoVE under the subject categories of “Biology” and “Images, Audio and Video” or the alphabetical listings on the library’s “Articles & E-Resources” webpage.
