Game Night in Learning Commons a success

Written by Jon Ritterbush, Electronic Resources Librarian

The first ever “Game Night in the Learning Commons” held on August 25 was deemed a great success by Keri Pearson, event organizer and Tutoring and Assessment Coordinator.  About 60 students and staff played games such as Boggle, Yahtzee, Scattergories, and Scrabble, while enjoying nachos and drinks.

Academic Peer Tutoring and the Writing Center are now located in the Learning Commons, on the library’s second floor, with appointments available beginning today, August 30.
